Why Weight Training WON'T Make You Bulky

I just wanted to share some facts about my favourite form of exercise:
🏋🏽 Weight training!!! 🏋🏽


Women, it will NOT make you bulky 🚫‼️


Naturally, the average woman doesn't produce enough testosterone to cause excessive muscle growth.

If you ever appear to be gaining size, it's because you are putting on muscle but are yet to lose the fat surrounding the muscle (which will come with weight training combined with healthy eating). As you can see in the picture, fat takes up much more space in the body than muscle! 😁

Benefits include:
⬆️ Muscle strength/ power / endurance.
⬆️ Muscle definition ("Toning").
⬆️ Metabolism and BMR (you'll continue to burn calories for up to 24 hours after stepping out of the gym 😄).
⬆️ Bone density.
⬆️ Posture, balance and stability.
⬆️ Mood.
⬇️ Risk of disease.

Time to pick up those Dumbbells ☺️🙌🏽💪🏽🏋🏽💕
