"Just have a bit, it won't hurt!"

We know it won't hurt. But it's the principle behind that. If we gave in to every temptation then we wouldn't be where we are today.

We love our family and friends but sometimes they don't understand out fitness journey... and that's ok.

Here are my top 5 tips on how to deal with family and friends who may not understand a healthy lifestyle change.

1. Remembering your why.

You chose to make this change to your lifestyle for a reason. Wheth...

If we accept the fact that we can't do something, or it's too hard, then we've set ourself a limit.
I never thought I'd be able to do a chin up and just accepted it. One day as a joke, I got my brother to boost me up and help me do one, but then realized I was actually pretty close to doing it by myself.
Since that moment I removed all doubt and realized I am capable to achieve more than the limits I place on myself.
Who actually says it's too hard? Or is it a thoug...

This is one of the most common phrases I hear when people are too reluctant to improve their health.

Gone are the days of restriction and cutting out food groups, so there's no reason why you can't be a healthy weight as well as enjoying the foods you love (within reason) 👌🏽

As soon as you become aware of your emotional connection to food, it is easier to remove.

Goal setting, giving yourself other forms of rewards and removing the "punishment" factor with eating...

The beauty of flexible dieting means that technically you can eat whatever you want as long as it 'fits your macros'. 🍩

BUT if you want the best possible results, clean whole foods will keep you fuller for longer and fuel your cells

properly for your workouts/ recovery.

So instead of eating things like this doughnut, you'd be able to eat a much higher volume of clean food and you won't be starving by the end of the night 🥒🥕🥗🥙

Every once in a while is fine to treat yourself,...

If you want to be happy in life, you need to put yourself first. The world is full of people that society makes us feel like we have to impress in order to fit in.

From a young age we aren't taught how to be an individual and those who are different get picked on.

Growing up, most of us take the safe route, the 9-5 job, holding back our true thoughts, hanging around people that deep down we don't actually connect with...

We are unique, and should be able to live our life how...

We all have fears; of rejection, of humiliation, of isolation.. but most often than not we fear things will never even happen.

In order to live life to the fullest we must try to put these thoughts aside and take that leap of faith to try something new.

Face your fears head on and take those risks.

If you fail the first time, keep trying.. eventually you will succeed.

Or stay in your comfort zone.. but is that really living?

If anyone is feeling a bit lost post comp I just want to take a moment to speak about the reality of it all.. well my reality anyway 😊

Unfortunately comp bodies aren't sustainable, no matter what anyone says or posts on social media. Nor is it healthy to maintain such a low body fat percentage or calorie intake.

Of course I'd LOVE to look like how I did on the left.. life was awesome, I had just won two comps, I was getting compliments left right and centre.. BUT I was exhau...

Today was tough! I don't know what happened but I could have dived into every type of junk food under the sun 😐

When motivation is low and you feel like going off the rails, there are a few things that might help.
🔅Talk to your friends and family. They always have the best advice and can help re motivate you 💕
🔅 Remember why you're working towards your goals.
🔅 Look at photos you are proud of.
